A Visit to the Rockies

Colorado's experiment with wholesale drug importation has unique potential for the future of American drug pricing.

Nestled in the Rockies, beyond the political turmoil of the D.C. Beltway, Colorado is often described as one of the most beautiful states in the United States. But beyond its snowcapped peaks and gorgeous valleys, the mountains hide another secret: one related to drug pricing.

Yet despite this crisis, Congress is gridlocked in debates over how to implement such reforms, with both sides of the isle disagreeing on the steps which need to be taken.
